Description: Welding Anti-Spatter is a no flash, waterbased formula that provides a protective coating to aid in the removal of weld spatter, and helps to keep welding tips and nozzles clean. Prevents weld spatter from adhering to surrounding metal surfaces. Leaves a transparent, light yellow, tacky film that visually certifies proper coverage. Benefits: Prevents spatter adhesion on base metal, thus eliminating grinding and chiseling. This product is highly heat-resistant and flameproof when applied as directed. Easily removed when welding is completed. Contains no silicones. Application: Use on various welding and torch cutting devices where weld spatter could be a problem, including MIG and TIG nozzles and tips, electrode holders, fixtures, resistant welding tips, and all types of maintenance/ production welding. Directions: DO NOT EXPOSE CAN DIRECTLY TO FLAME OR ELECTRIC ARC. Surface may be painted after brushing away Anti-Spatter film with a wire brush. For optimal paint adhesion, remove all residual film with solvent. Aerosol: Shake well before use. Direct spray in sweeping motion 8 to 10 inches from surface. For tips and nozzles, use circular motion, being sure to cover both inside and outside of tip. For use in the manufacturing process only. Do not use on electrical equipment or machinery while in operation. Do not apply paint directly over Anti-Spatter film, as paint will not properly adhere.
